A logo is what a company will be remembered for making it important to know that what you design is the best for your business. Every business new or old will has an emblem that is custom designed for them by an expert designer. The designer tries to make the design timeless that it can work for the next five to ten years.

By a timeless doesn’t always work as and it depends on a trend but with trends, you are unsure if the one you are currently using will look good in the month, it’s all a guesswork.

Giving your brand a redo can be a very crucial task as you need to be careful as the old one is what people loved. But what should one change that can give it a new look but can make your customers pleased at the same time? Let’s see:

In this, your main focus might be on typography but that doesn’t mean you should be looking into the colour and shape. As with a logo is it very important that everything is in sync to make it easier to understand.

But simple doesn’t mean you are not allowed to play around you just make sure what you are doing doesn’t disturb the brand’s name. This can make it fun for the people who are looking for things that make you different from the others.

A pictorial logo is emblems that are designed by using images instead of texts. Pictorial logo can also be recognized as minimalistic ones as these logos are memorable making them easier to recall for the brand.

You can use pictorial logos with your company’s name if you are a new brand and trying to get your brand recognized. These symbols are distinct you making them easier to remember by their image and memorize them for later.

The best thing about using a pictorial logo is that you can easily change the colour and they will still be remembered. Another benefit of a pictorial logo is that it is just an image making it easier to explain without the need of knowing the language.

Pick new fonts:

Picking a new font is another way of giving your brand a new look. It is simple as there are so many different options one can choose from. This change could make your brand easier to understand a brand.

The reason for picking a new font can be very simple, the one you started with is not completing its purpose and is attracting the wrong audience. A very common reason for changing it could be that you have merged with another company.

The best example of this can be the custom logo of a company by the name of MSNBC. In the original design, the font they used was a heavy-looking MSNBC in which their logo was merged with the company’s name.

Adjusting the colours:

Picking new colours one thing you should ever be doing. The reason of which is that every colour represents a human emotion that can make him or her feel a certain way. The only way you can pick a new colour if you are new or not that known.

Another thing that many businesses can do is adjusting the contrast or saturation of the colour. By doing this you can either make the colour light or dark it depends on what you are going for. Doing this keeps the same tone and people remember your brand in the same way.

Some colours that could be very helpful for you can be red which can make your brand look energetic and courageous, yellow the colour of sunshine can represent hope and happiness and nature the colour of nature showing good luck and healthy life.

Try a simpler design:

This topic might sound similar but can be very important. But with the world being so crowded simple is what everyone is looking for. In these modern times, the thing we call simple can fit anywhere and look great.

Examples of simple logo design can include Snapchat, Whatsapp, Uber, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Pepsi and many others like that which are remembered by the symbol instead of their names. The best thing about going for a simpler label is that it makes it easier to attract newer audience.

Let’s take the example of Instagram the current emblem which is designed with the gradient of the colour pink, red, orange and yellow. This made it’s a simpler design and created something easier to remember and fit in all the devices.
